ReQtest makes creating and managing requirements effortless. ReQtest supports both agile and traditional development methods and makes it easy to get an overview of all your requirements.
Using ReQtest, requirements, design documents and test documents are all stored in one place, rather than spread out over different servers, e-mail, document archives etc. Since ReQtest is web-based, you can allow various stakeholders to view the requirements.
Attaching files such as design documents or mockups to requirements is very simple. This helps to clarify the requirements. Testers can view requirements to easily write test cases, developers can use requirements to design and develop the system, while decision makers can access decision support materials.
Ranking and prioritizing requirements is also a simple task in ReQtest. You can prioritize requirements using any kind of scale: numeric, high/low/medium, or the MoSCoW scale (Must, Should, Could and Won’t).
Requirements can be tracked to see which ones are completed, in development, ready for testing or accepted.
Linking requirements, test cases and bug reports is also extremely simple, so you can get a holistic view of what is needed.
Other requirement management tools often lack the link to testing, which leads to extra work, but ReQtest is a tool not only for requirements management, but also for planning and executing tests as well as for bug tracking. The modules are tightly integrated, but each one can also be used on its own.
